Another kick butt read by Hopf. He is becoming my favorite Western author and writes with a unique twist that I haven't seen before. This story is gritty and has heart. Don't miss it!
Excellent book with a great story and excellent characters. Have read all of the books written by this author and would highly recommend them to everyone that enjoys a great western book.
Holp is an excellent author and has a very unique writing style. A western on revenge, but ends in redemption. Good story, and if you like westerns, you will enjoy this book.

Good book lots of action and great story. Would recommend this author he is a great story teller and has a good script.
Good story line but seemed to clip some of the encounters and make them to short. I think this made the book to short.
This is the first time I've read this author, but it won't be the last. There were a number of things I liked about this book. The characters were true and honest and believable. The storyline was really well thought out, and I liked that the ending was a little different than what I was expecting, but turned out the better for it, and I felt was appropriate. This author's style and tone was easy to read and enjoyable. The other thing that impressed me was how this fine author wrote his book without using any bad language. It just goes to show that a well told and thoughtful story can be told without using curse words. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a good western.
Excellent story about forgiveness, misconceptions, tying up loose ends, trust, love and second chances. I am enjoying Mr. Hopf's adventures in the old West. It is living a post apocalyptic life without the disaster.Looking forward to reading more of this genre.
