Good book. Using it for my FEA class and it's well organized, easy to follow and the downloadable content matches the exercises perfectly.
Very basic info. Maybe good for an intro. Lots of the info seems outdated. Nowhere near enough info on the most important part of any FEA...interpreting the results & understanding failure criteria. I don't think there's anything in this book that you couldn't learn more quickly (and free) on the internet.
Decent introduction for Solidworks.
