This cookbook could not be more disappointing. I went through the entire thing and marked *one* recipe I might be interested in making. The writing is lackluster, there are no photos of completed dishes, and almost every recipe I’ve seen before in a slightly different variation. Love the concept; sloppy execution
Company coming for 5 day visit & sightseeing. I live alone & don't cook often. Need quick, easy, delicious dinners to serve at day's end. This book allowed me to plan a variety of meals in advance with a minimum of prep to cook time. Good breakfast and snack foods too. Ready for fun and food! Whew! Relieved!!
I have several 5-Ingredient cook books and this one is my favorite. The recipes are appealing and they really are easy.
I haven't made any of the recipes yet, but I plan to in the future. I love that these recipes use few ingredients and short cooking time.

This book was a waste of money. I didnt see any usable recipes or note. If i could've gave zero stars i would have.
If you are a busy parent or just a busy human and you want to eat real food but perhaps don't have a lot of time to plan meals or confidence in your skill set, this is a good cookbook to have on hand. The limitation of five ingredients makes this very approachable for anyone; I could also see this coming in handy for college students or those who are new to cooking. The recipes are approachable and simple enough to execute on a weeknight without much stress. It's also very easy to play around with these recipes and make your own changes if you're feeling like you want to. But you certainly don't have to.
In this cookbook, Sarah shows us that creating simple, nutritious and whole food-centered meals doesn't have to be hard. Every recipe contains only five ingredients - many which you likely already have in your pantry or fridge. I love how each recipe is clearly labeled as gluten-free, vegetarian, no-cook, one pot, and/or 30 min (to signify a meal that can be made in 30 minutes or less). There are also plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options and an entire section devoted to vegetarian mains. This is a great cookbook to have on hand - ready for those nights when you need to put a simple, fast and nutritious meal on the table ASAP.
